Weekly Weigh In week of 3/10/08

No need to feel disappointed in yourself, we are all doing it at this stage. Be grateful you care enough to recognize it and know you need to make a change.
I have been eating horrible since prior to the holiday's and can't seem to stop. I have been as low as 116 and am currently hovering at 122 (So that is 6 lbs for me). It has been as high as 124 but just for a few days.
Even worse than the weight gain, I just can't seem to let go of the carbs and they make me feel terrible. I get so sleepy and sluggish after I eat them. It is really making a difference in my life but I can't seem to make myself stop. They feel so good going down.....In addition, I feel so bloated....I havent been working out nor taking all of my vitamins.... I don't know what in the heck is wrong with me.
Here go my stat's for the week:
Starting weight 273
Last week = 120
This week = 122
Loss this week = gained 2
Total loss = 151
Current BMI = 19.7

your BMI is soooo good - even thou you have gained ( I know that you do not want to hear that but ... isn't it?????)
carbs are soooo hard for me too
pluse the more you eat them tthe more you crave them - a vicious cycle!!!!
I'll cut you slack on the exercise .... but the vitamins
come on Christy!!!! We love you ... this is a must!!!
Today get those vitamins lined up and ready to go!

I know my BMI is fine but it comes down to how I feel and honestly, I just dont feel good, I can tell a big difference with 6 extra pounds.
I did get my vitamins in (both sets) so far today. I have been taking them but not all of them, I have been taking about half, which is better than none I guess.
You are so right about the vicious carb cycle, I wish I would have never picked them up cause now I want them more and more......

I really need to get back into exercise. I let it go while I was sick and have had a hard time getting back into it. I also have been battling bad tailbone pain. The doctor called it coxxydynia (spelling). Said there is no really reason for it it most people but losing the weight probably is the culprit. He is having a custom made donut type pillow made to use when siting. This is when it is at its worst. He said he has good response from people who have had similar problems. But this is no excuse need to get in some exercise. At least I have a job that I am active at.
