Weekly Weigh In week of 2/25
Hey CeCe!!!! Thanks so much for all of your concern and caring.... I actually have not been avoiding the board the past couple of days... I have had appointments, been filling out paperwork for foodstamps and all of that good stuff... Just been really occupied... I would not even consider stopping my meds, so don't you worry about that... I know that those are vital to my well-being... I have been in a good state of mind lately actually too.. Better than I have been in a long while.... I just know that I have not been making the best choices for my lately when it comes to what I eat and what I snack on... So I need to start changing those choices and doing less grazing as well....
OH and I did find out today that part of my weight gain was my monthly visitor that I didn't realize was coming.... so that was 3 -5 pounds right there just from that.. and that weight is already gone... so next week should be better for me...
I just wanted you to know how much it means to me to have such a great bunch of women here that support me and will listen to me.... You are the greatest....

Had a pretty good week. Camping was fun, got lots of exercise there.
Hubby & I are going to marriage counseling, so things are getting better there.
Damn.. I wish my BMI was lower like yours. If only I could grow a few inches, my 5 foot 4 self just needs to be a bit taller.

Current BMI = 23.7
I wish I could say I had a good week but I didn't. I'm just lucky it isn't any worse than it is! It started out good last week weight-wise because my ulcer was killing me and it hurt to eat. So by Tuesday of last week I was at 140.2. But I finally got in to see a doctor and he gave me some different medicine and it helped so much that now I can't stop eating!!!! It's been crazy! But I'm getting myself back on track and sticking with the low carb, high protein foods. That really works for me better than anything else I've tried.

Thanks. I went for my ultrasound this morning and have a follow-up with my new doctor next Thursday so hopefully he will be able to help me. I'm still feeling better with the new medicine but occasionally it flares up bad.
Why do bad carbs taste so good? I guess we would all liike to know the answer to that one. I'm trying to be good but sometimes it is just so hard! I'm not a planner and I usually end up making bad choices because of that. I need a kick in the butt!! I also need someone to drag me to the gym. I haven't been in 2 weeks. First it was because of my ulcer - now it's because I am lazy! Ugghh. I have an appt. with my personal trainer tomorrow so maybe he can get me back in the swing of things. I sure hope so!
Like you said, just keep plugging away! Eventually we will get there!

We are traveling this weekend as it is my little guy's 5th Birthday and Birthday Party so we are heading back to West Virginia. Hopefully, I can do alright!
