...but I was wondering: What was your favorite vacation? I love to get away and see new places. Is there a fabulous place that you've been or would like to go some day? I would love to hear about it!

Well, since I have 3 little princess (and hubby and I are kids at heart) Disney is one of our favorite vacation spots, we also love camping, we really liked a vacation that we took to COUPLES (just adults) Negril in Jamaica, they call the beach seven miles of serenity - just beautiful. what about you Wanda?

Britt, since you love camping and Disney maybe you should try Disney's Fort Wilderness. I hear that is it fantastic! Randy and I talked about renting a big cabin and inviting all the grandkids. You can bring your own camper or tent too. When Randy and I got married we took a whirlwind trip through the New England states. It was in October and the colors were amazing. We loved that vacation. Last year when my daughter and I took one of those tiny planes over the Grand Canyon and walked on the glass skywalk it was absolutely awe inspiring. The red mountains of Sedona Arizona were pretty amazing too. That was our first trip to Arizona and it was so cool to have mountain burrows and wild jack rabbits wander up to us. Walking up the middle of Dunns River Falls in Jaimca was an amazing adventure. And the cruise on the Carribbean Princess was fantastic. Last, but not least, was our trip to the Rocky Mountains last May. The views were so beautiful and we had so much fun playing in the snow and hiking. I guess I can't pick a favorite. But I have spring fever and can't wait to plan my next vacation! The one thing I know for sure is that vacations are so much more fun at our current weight! Thanks for helping me wash away my winter blues by talking about vacations! Wanda

Wanda, My favorite vacatins as a kid was camping in disney at Fort Wilderness. Now we are DVC members ... as an adult I have grown to love nice accommodations - and cannot picture going back to a tent after a long hot day in Disney!!! He he he It is GREAT not to be able to pick a favorite vacation that means you are doing "something" right! We are making plans for a next Disney vaction - soon - ahhhhhh warm weather - I want to feel sun and see my Disney friends! hugs, Britt

If you are like me, the older I get the more elegant I want my accomodations! Disney has some incredible hotels. I'm sure you will have a blast!

Wanda, With the dollar being in the terrible shape it's in, my favorite vacation is not an option for us right now! I love Europe! We lived there for eight years and I loved traveling around. The dollar was good then and the world was a safer place! There were sometimes demonstrations outside the base gates but, overall, at least Americans weren't hated. Hopefully, we'll get back there at some point because I miss it! CeCe

I would love to see Europe! Randy doesn't have a desire to leave the U.S., but I'm hoping we can go some day! Maybe a group tour would be a better idea at this point! Wanda

I love Hawaii, I've been twice once with my sister-in-law and once with my husband. I have to agree with you about Sedonia being pretty spectacular. Deb

I can't wait to go some day. It sounds fabulous. Did you fly or cruise? Which way would you recommend?

I flew both times. I would love to cruise but flying wasn't too bad it's an 8 hour flight from the Twin Cities. Deb
