I got engaged!!!

Hi Everyone! I got engaged to my loving BF on Xmas day. I knew it was coming because we picked out the ring together! But I didn't know for sure when he would ask although I figured it would be over the holiday. I do not really like surprises so this worked for me! lol On Xmas morning we were at his parents house. We opened presents and the last ones I opened were a Ken and Barbie groom and bride. (I collect Barbies) Then he got down on one knee and asked me to be the Barbie to his Ken! It was perfect! I posted some pics on in my profile please feel free to check them out! So now I need to get busy plannning. WE would like to get married in Nov of 2008. Happy New Year! Kim

Kimberly, I told you congrats in my weigh-in note but since you might not have read that, I wanted to tell you here as well! That is wonderful! I'm so happy for you! You'll have a busy year planning for the November wedding and it will be here before we know it! I'm off to check your pictures on your profile! Oh, by the way, when you mentioned Barbie and Ken, I had to laugh. There seems to be some unfortunate swelling following a tummy tuck that gives people the "Ken Doll Effect." You know how Ken's genitals were nonexistent but he had that swollen "mound"? That's what I have! It sticks out further than my stomach (which is now FLAT!!!) CeCe

CeCe, I figured Nov was good for me once so it would be a good time to get married too. I had been thinking Nov and when I asked him what time of year he saw us getting married he said late fall. I am glad you got a laugh about the barbie thing I actually hadn't heard of that. My Mom collects barbies with me I can't wait to tell her about it! Hugs, Kim

Thanks! Its funny people have asked me what kind of dress I want and I truly don't know. I am just getting used to my new body and I can hardly imagine it in a wedding dress. So I am really looking forward to going dress shopping! hugs, Kim
