I went for a post op visit today. I had a breast lift and augmentation 2 months ago. He said that I had capsular contracture on both breasts and that I need to schedule another surgery. True to my nature, I scheduled surgery for tomorrow! I'm not looking forward to anesthesia and a fresh incision site again, but I do want my breasts to finally look normal. I have to return to work on Friday so I hope it doesn't kick my butt like the first surgery. Also, I have been taking Vitamin E and Omega 3 so I might bleed more than normal. Geesh. I'll be glad when I get back to normal!
PS is not for the faint of heart.

It shouldn't be too bad. I will have general anesthesia, but they said it should only take 15 minutes. I'm working 1/2 day and then Randy wil drive me to Orlando. My surgery isn't until 4:30 pm. No food or water all day! That should be interesting! I plan on working Friday so hopefully it goes as easy as he says it will.

OMG!!!! I had no clue you might have to have another surgery.... I wish you the best and hope you have a very quick recovery. I am not really sure what a capsular contraction is or what they have to do to correct it, but I am sure you will do fine and will come through with flying colors as you usually do with everything... Best of luck to you.....
Hugs,

Kim, I don't blame you. You should stay far away from any more surgery for a long while!
Update us on how you are and what you've gone through with the revision. Are you still using the feeding tube?
I am still on the feeding tube. I will be on it for at least a month. Kind of have to see how things go as we go along. I am starting to eat slowly. Just little things like soup, crackers, jello, yogurt. I need to increase food by mouth. But I'm petrified. I had a horrible painful experience in the hospital. I just keep thinking that if I wait long enough, my insides will be healed enough I can just jump to soft foods and start eating for real. I know it won't happen than way, but it's a nice dream. In the meantime, I need to start eating more by mouth and get some good experiences under my belt. I've also been battling acid reflux and waiting for my Protonix to totally kick in. So I have to eat around the flare ups. Who ever would have thought it would be so difficult just to eat.
