I hope all of you had a great week and are "wrapping up" your Holiday shopping and preparations. I have to get wrapping!!!!! I felt like I was so ahead of the eight ball and now I feel like I am losing ground . I have been sick for the past week with a cold - I wasn't able to work out all week (last)! It was killing me, my 1st time!
I plan on trying to start back again this week - I'll take it easy - but at least I'll get back to my routine - BUT ... I am still battling this cold - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Holiday Parties have been a lot of fun - but there are so many temptations, its challenging. I am glad we do not have any more until Christmas!!!!

I'm still bouncing between 132-134. I'm not making much progress in my 5 pound challenge. My goal was to be at 130 by Christmas Eve, It sounds so possible, but yet I just can't seem to get past 132 or even to stay at 132.
Randy keeps trying to feed me because he thinks I'm "too boney" so that's not helping matters much. I don't blame him. I know I'm in control.

I am happy that I am holding here - BUT ITS WORK! I would love to get to 135 to have some "wiggle room" But I think I'd struggle to maintain???? Not Sure ... We'll see what happens after the Holdays pass.
You know I weigh daily - So after a Holiday party If the scale is up a pound I am CAREFUL in what I eat and drink EXTRA water to rid that pound (I am ) I just DO NOT want that weight to come back!!!!

I am happy to report that my weight loss was kick-started last week. I have to contribute it to removing all bad carbs from my diet, drinking more water, and eating less. I still managed to get in my protein and my workouts were intense. It makes me feel so good to know that my tool still works! I'm really happy about that I will continue to use it as it is supposed to be used. Thank you all for your support last week when I was feeling so down on myself. Your encouraging words really motivated me and I so appreciate it!!!!
Christmas is right around the corner and I think I am finished with my shopping. I still have some things to do but I don't think I have anything else to buy. And that's a good thing because I am now broke!!! lol.

I am getting a little stressed about Xmas we're having at our house this weekend and our potluck at work is tomorrow. I am planning on swimming 3 times this week and then the pool is closed for 2 weeks over xmas break so I have to find an alternative for the next few weeks. I'm struggling with my 5 pounds by Xmas I lost last week but stayed the same this week I wanted to get in the 150's to so I was disappointed.

Last week = 160.4
This week = 160.4
Loss this week = 0
Total loss = 138.1
Current BMI = 29.33
I guess I should be happy remaining the same weight especially this time of year. I certainly have a hard time when treats are out and available but am determined not to eat till I'm sick tomorrow.

Good evening, Britt and November Surgery Brothers and Sisters,
We are packing for a 2 week trip so this just might be the last time you hear from me til the New Year! I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with very few temptations!!! And, most of all GOOD HEALTH!!! Did you hear that, Kim! I want to come back to very good news from all of you but I sure want to hear that Kim has gained weight!
I still don't feel like I'm recovered from PS yet because of this hole in my side!!! However, I do feel my energy bouncing back a little!
I'm worried about not being in total control of my eating cir****tances the next 2 weeks. I'm taking protein powder and hope that I can keep the carbs down but since my family doesn't know I had WLS, it's going to be tough to eat small amounts. Luckily, I've told them what an appetite buster this binder is so maybe that will help!

Hugs coming right back at ya! I think I finished up my shopping tonight. Just a couple last minute items. I started wrapping last night till I ran out of tape! Ugh I thought that I had a bunch stockpiled. I have tomorrow off and I my Mom and I are going to bake cookies. It is a tradition that we have. And my Aunt usually came too and she passed away this past spring. So I feel as though I can't say I don't want to be around the cookies. I will just have to be good!! lol
