Kim (Dancinjudge) update x-post

I spoke with Kim's husband just a bit ago. Kim is still in the hospital, but they think she will be coming home tomorrow afternoon. There has been some difficulty getting her pain under control, but she seems to be healing well and the doctor believes she will make a full recovery. Hopefully, she will be on-line tomorrow or Saturday to let you all know how she is feeling. Thank you all for joining in prayers for her. She has definitely had a tough row to hoe. Linda

Thank you for the update on Kim!! I am still praying that she gets though this with flying colors!! I hope that her pain gets under control soon. I had my gallbladder taken out Nov 29, the day before Kim's surgery, and let me tell you, "it has kicked my butt" worse than my WLS. Of course it has only been seven or eight days but none the less it has been no fun, I am weak and sick to my pouch all the time, down to 137 as of this afternoon, will take that. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I dont know if it is because I had WLS just a little over a year ago and surgery so close or what, but if I feel this way I truly feel for Kim because she is going though far more than me and it is absolutely no fun. I will keep her in my prayers and hope to hear from her this weekend. Thank you again from being her angel and updates on her. Blessings to all Chrisy

I am glad to know that Kim is doing well. I am sure once they get the pain under control, she will feel much better. She in continually in my prayers. Chrisy, I had gallbladder surgery 5 years before WLS. Let me tell you that it was MUCH worse pain wise than my WLS. Before WLS I was expecting them to be quite similar but there was no comparison. They were both done Lap with very different pain outcomes. Just take it easy. You will be feeling better soon. Hugs, Valorie

Thank you for the update. I have been worried about her and was going PM you to see what the latest was. I sure do hope she is able to go home soon. I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks again for keeping us posted. HUGS, Shawn M.
