Stomach Ulcers

I had my one year check up 2-weeks ago and was having chest/stomach pain. My doctor ordered an endoscopy and I had it done this Wednesday. They found two stomach ulcers and put me on carafate, previcid and pepcid. Anyone else have this problem? Pattie

Is your ulcers in the pouch or stoma or the actual stomach? I'm sorry that you're going through that! Wanda

I had the same problem way back in the beginning when I had my stricture.. I was put on the stuff... It will get better, just take your meds like you are supposed to and you will be surprised how quickly you feel good... Sorry you are going through this, take care and take those meds.. Yep, I have ulcers also. Just found out 2 weeks ago. I have been taking prevacid - the doctor put me on it when I had RNY as a precaution but now I am on carafate also. I am having a hard time taking it 4 times a day though. I go back to the dr. in 2 weeks for a follow-up. I'm feeling better already though. Susan
