Kim, I don't think I've ever understood exactly what your surgery was in the first place because you have said your bypass part was 6 feet. I always thought they bypassed 100 centimeters (39.37 inches) for people up to a certain weight and 150 centimeters (59.06 inches) only for the super morbidly obese. The 150 centimeters is just under 5 feet so, since you only weighed 202 to begin with, why did the surgeon bypass 6 feet? I have a friend who had WLS about 8 years ago by a surgeon who didn't specialize in it and he bypassed too much and she has diarrhea every day too. She doesn't have it as severe as you and her weight stabilized at a good number but she says she can eat anything and everything she wants but she knows she will have diarrhea every day. I so hope for your sake, Kim, that the new surgeon, will lessen your bypass considerably but I'm not so sure he should mess with your pouch since you are so tiny and I can't imagine how you would deal with the additional weight loss after surgery if you are even more limited in the amount. Already, you'll be limited to allow the colon to heal but I can't tell you how worried I am about you getting through this to the point where you get some real nutrition and your body can start to truly heal. This has been so hard on your muscles, nerves and, of course, mentally. I pray for the best for you tomorrow, Kim. Please get someone to let us know something as soon as possible! Can Henry update us? CeCe

Kim I don't always post a response but you are in my prayers every day. I cannot imagine how horrible it must be. I'll be praying for you tomorrow too and the God will guide the surgeon's head and hands. Trudy

I wondered if you were having a revision back to normal or a revision to an RNY. It sounds like he will do an RNY if he can. What will determine that decision? I don't really understand it all. Tomorrow is your big day. Can you believe it? Finally!! We are all rooting for you! Let us know as soon as possible! Wanda
