DAUGHTER HAD STRICTURE

Our daughter had surgery on Aug 31 and had since lost 57lbs. Then she got to where NOTHING stayed down, not even water, when it did she would have awful stomatch and chest pain. She went back to surgeon and he said she had a stricture, opend it up wider and found at least a dozen pills stuck in there. He did not want to take the pills out, but she has to have her blood work done so that he can see if she does not have to high a count now. She feels so much better now and she say's "I can eat now" Chrisy

Good morning! I would think that having a bunch of pills stuck would hurt! lol I am glad that they were able to take care of the stricture. Just curious now thats its open do they figure that the pills will continue on their own. Just wondered why not just take them out. I will keep her in my thoughts that she continues on her wls journey hopefully w/o anymore problems! Have a great day! Hugs, Kim

Wow. I'm sorry that happened to her. I thought I had a stricture too but it's an ulcer. I had this vision of a bunch of pills stuck in my pouch and now you tell me that is exactly what happened to your daughter! I hope she is feeling better now. Susan
