CeCe Update

It's 3:45 pm and CeCe is still in surgery! Her doctor said he expected it to end around 4pm but I didn't really expect it to last that long. I'm glad he's being very thorough and careful. Hank is holding up great and will let me know when she gets to the recovery room. You just have to appreciate our husbands (or other loved ones) who have taken this journey with us. Wls surgery doesn't just affect us, does it? Just look at everything that has changed in the last year--the way we cook, the way we eat, the amount of time we exercise, our never-ending shopping for new clothes, our vacation choices, how we socialize, and now PS! Not every relation can survive all of these changes but, the ones that do become stronger than ever! Anyway...I digress. I'll let you all know soon how our beautiful friend Cece fared through all this. This is a very traumatic surgery for anyone. Let alone someone that just had major surgery a year ago! What a great surgeryversary present though!

Yes, she went in right on time--10 am.

I know, I know! I'm worried too. Hank was going to call me when her surgery ended. He didn't call and I was hesitant to call him again. I thought maybe he had his hands full and wouldn't appreciate the intrusion. I'll call him today.
