Oh, Wanda! I'm getting more and more excited for you and for me!! I'm glad you are going first though!!! I get to have a little more insight into it all! I have gotten the same responses regarding the vitamins, etc. Last week I got a really nice little booklet put together by the PS Clinic. Several pages were all sorts of medications/supplements that you are NOT supposed to have prior to surgery. That was nice because it listed a full page of just aspirin products. Of course, WLS patients can't take those anyway but it really left no questions about what you shouldn't take. I just talked to my patient coordinator about a couple of things and got answers. I've never had any trouble reaching her but she isn't a nurse like the woman you've had trouble reaching. My pre-op appointment is Friday. I can't wait. I'll be able to get my blood work and prescriptions here and fax the blood work results up. Let me know if you hear anything about the compression garment. I keep seeing that website but I'm still not sure what is the best kind to order at this point. I am going to continue taking the stool softeners and get the suppositories like I read about on the PS site! I know those pain pills are going to cause problems so I'll have to be readyto fight the constipation!! Let's both hope that constipation is the WORST issue we have to deal with after PS! I'll be thinking about you the entire day and praying for a wonderful outcome and swift healing. Make sure Britt is able to update us as soon as possible! I was wondering if you guys were able to meet when she and the family were there to see Micky? That would have been nice! CeCe

I just found out that I won't come home with the compression binder on. My doc doesn't allow the binder until after the drains are removed! Now, that's different than other stories that I heard!

Thanks, Deb! The surgery has been changed to 11 am. The doc wanted to squeeze in an eyebrow lift before he got started with me!

I should be home by around 5 pm. I'll try to post soon after that. According to the doc I won't feel any pain for the first ten hours. We will see about that...
