Weekly Weigh In week of 10/22
Hi all!
I hope that you all had a fantastic week!!! I missed you all well, I am home from vacation and look forward to catching up on all the posts that I missed while away - I especially look forward to reading LAST WEEKS weigh in thread :0)
Thank you Wanda for taking over the "Poms~Poms" - posting and hosting the weekly weigh in while I was visiting Mickey. It was a great, fun -filled vacation and NOW ...it's back to reality (and laundry) ...*sigh*
It was challenging to eat good on vacation (vacation is HARD for me) ... I did indulge here and there :0) - I worked out every morning @ 6 am and didn't leave the gym until I burned at least 500 calories - So that helped out my vacation indulgences along the way. But Now ... it's Back to business.
Here we go!
here are my stats ...
Starting weight 250.5
Last week = 139 (3 pounds below goal before I left)
This week = 142
Loss this week = *gain 3*
Total loss = 108.5
Current BMI = 22.9
quote of the week -----> (I LOVE this one!!!!)

Hi Britt and everyone. I just passed my 11month surgiversary...I'm happy to report I'm almost at the end. Hoping everyone had a great month and can't believe we are almost one year out!! What a difference a year makes!
Starting weight 246.5
current weight 146
total loss - 100.5
BMI 24.2 (I'm normal)
I finally hit my 100 lb loss...and I'm below the doctor's recommendation to loose. I still want to try and get to 135 but not sure if that is feasible at this point or not. I bought new clothes a few weeks back for fall and winter, mostly 6-8's for pants and small or medium for tops depending on cut. I feel great and doing well, unfortunately my marriage has taken the brunt of this and my dh and I are currently separated (about two months now). Unfortunately enough I do not think we will be able to repair this either.

Michelle,
The Century Club...isn't it awesome? And a normal BMI! Healthy, Healthy, Healthy!
So sorry to hear about your marriage. It is such a shame when things can't be repaired. I have been there and I understand what you must be going through. If you need a shoulder, I am here for you. You can pm me anytime.
But, keep up the good work and you can make your personal goal. Just keep and you will see 135 on that scale.
Hugs,
Valorie
Hey Valorie,
Thanks for the words of encouragement. Most days I'm perfectly fine with everything that is going on. I have had alot of help mentally and physically. It's a tough road and I thought including him up front would do the utmost good, but after snide comments of stop dieting and exercising so much, I wish you were the old person...well it get's old and you get the gist of what's been going on. Yes I'm finally healthy, I'm happy and healthy...it comes through in so many ways. I'm starting to feel that maybe my whole marriage was partly emotional abuse on me but I was to stubborn to realize..lol
Anyhow,I'm not fretting about my personal goal, the fact that I am where I am at today is a monumental feat that I have accomplished. I am proud of myself and all the hard work and preserverance it has taken. It's not always easy but it certainly is rewarding!

Michelle,
Congrats on reaching the CENTURY MARK! That's fantastic. Your new clothing sizes are fantastic too! There's no big hurry to get to 135 - just keep working your tool and if it's meant to be, it will but, hey, wearing a 6 or 8 pants is the greatest! Sorry to hear about the marital problems but I assume part of it is your not being willing to settle for less these days! You deserve the best and if he's not able to change or the relationship can't be saved, follow your heart.

Happy Monday Everyone! Welcome Home Britt. I hope Mickeyland was lots of fun for you and the family. We missed you last week and are glad you are back with us today.
I had a great week. Started new exercise program at the gym. Worked out with PT 2 days and it was fun! I think I could become a gym rat if I give it half a chance. I can see where it can become addictive. At least it is a good addiction.
My weekly stats:
Starting weight = 348 and BMI 60
Weight on Day of Surgery = 332.5
Last week = 223.0
This week = 222.0
Loss this week = 1 lbs
Total loss = 126 lbs
Since surgery 110.5 lbs
1 lb gone but not forgotten. I know the exercise will help in the long run but man it is hard to see only 1 lb loss after such a successful week. I am already looking forward to next Monday! I think it will be bigger and better.
Have a great week everyone.
Hugs,
Valorie
