Personal Victory!!
Today I had my first workout with a personal trainer at a new gym. She was great and I really felt like I had a workout. I have been doing Curves for 10 months so this was totally new to me. I was so shocked that I got through the whole workout without once feeling like I was going to pass out or fall out. I was pleasantly surprised that I could keep up with the trainer without over exerting myself. I think I surprised her too. I could tell she was expecting far less of me.
I am one happy camper! I am also scheduled for another session on Thursday.

Valorie, how exciting!!! Don't you just love it when you can do much more than someone expects!!!! You showed that trainer!!! I'm very happy you have some new challenges. I hope the scale shows you a new victory on Monday. If it doesn't, it's only because of new muscle or you will be retaining fluid because of the tiny muscle tears as your body adjusts to the new routine so don't get discouraged IF and I mean IF it goes up!! Great job!

I'm so happy that you joined the gym and hired a personal trainer! Curves can only take you so far. It sounds like you have good strength and stamina. You're going to do great.
