Sharing a poem I made up

I like to write poetry and made up this poem ... "At Goal" (11 months to the day later) So impressed In disbelief At goal weight My dreams been reached Hard work and sweat Ups and downs Determination All around Goals set Decisions made Consequences met New habits made Frustration Infectious joy Feeling great Doing more Smooth sailing A bump in the road Why does that happen? No body knows Head hunger Carb Monster Battles with in Win some Lose some Learn and take it in Shrinking inches Losing pounds Gaining confidence Gaining ground My journeys not ending Just a new path A new road called "Maintenance" I am on at last Smiling big from ear to ear Determination to stay here Acknowledging a bit of fear I can do this - no doubts here! Keeping it real Paying it forward Staying connected Knowing the deal Having faith Following the rules I vow to honor this precious "tool!" ~ By Britt - at goal 10-6-07
