Britt, My water goal is always 128 oz (gallon) a day. My surgeon says min 48 but if I don't get close to a gallon, I don't lose. Period. I really need to join a regular gym. Curves is great for getting started because it is geared so that anyone, any age or fitness level can do it. However, after I have done the same thing for a year, I really need something more strenuous and stimulating. I am just concerned because the location is so convenient. I am afraid if I join a less conveniently located gym, then maybe I won't go as often. Catch 22 I suppose. Hope you have a great day! Val

That is great I do between 120-140 ounces a day Most gyms will give you a free weeks trial. It is a commitment going to the gym - no matter - how close - or a tiny bit further. You know that you need more of a challenge and YOU are worth it. Make sure the gym hours work for you. I go bright n earlty before anyone is even up in my house. I am up - exercise, get dressed and I am ready with my cop o joe in hand to great my family It works out perfectly for me. It was hard to get into the routine ... but now - I HAVE TO GO - I'm a gym rat now go figure! I feel so good that I exercise - I feel I am a better Momm & Wife too! keep me posted on your NEW membership hugs, Britt

Britt, you are sooooo my hero! I am NOT a morning person. I am the one who waits till the last possible second to jump out of bed. I have to have that last minute of sleep or my day starts on a BAD note. One of my biggest obstacles is the fact that I live about 20 minutes from anywhere. If I want to go to the gym in the am before work I would have to go early enough to take shower, do hair and makeup after work out then still go another 30 minutes to work. This is why I usually hit curves after work. I know it is just a matter of getting into the habit, but man this habit will take quite a lot of getting used to. There is a new gym opening soon that I have been thinking about. It is Rush Fitness and it is open 24/7. They also have a nursery so DJ can go with me if it is more convenient. The only thing, again, is proximity. It is another 20 minutes of back tracking from the day care. I guess I will just have to make a decision and stick to it. Of course, having to sign a contract for at least a year will help with the motivation after the decision. Hugs, Val

OK, so my plan for today went out the window. I couldn't control the carb monster so I just tried to keep the calories under control.
