Had A Great Night!!
Hi Everyone,
I attended my 25th high school reunion last night, and I was really amazed with the response that my old schoolmates had with the way I looked. I wasn't really what you would call popular in high school, so I didn't really have a huge circle of friends. I tended to scare people off because I read huge books and got good grades and blew the grading curve. I hadn't seen most of these people in 10 years, since our last reunion, and I really thought no one would remember what I used to look like.
I was pleasantly surprised. I got many compliments and looks of amazement from quite a few people. It made me feel really great. I didn't volunteer how I did it, but if they asked I told them that i had WLS, and they were impressed that I did well with it. I didn't get " Oh you took the easy way out" from any one.
We spent 6 hours catching up, dancing, and having a great time in general. We had a graduating class of 190 and 115 attended, pretty good turn out.
I also posted a new picture on my profile for my 11 month photo. Go take a look.

I'm glad you had a great time. Those events can be stressful sometimes. I'm sure that nobody would remember me from high school. I rarely showed up and when I did I didn't talk to anyone. My how things have changed. Just goes to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover! We are women of substance!
Your new pic looks great.
