Plan for success...Saturday 10/6

I know I am late...please forgive me...I have had a sickly child who wants nothing more than to kling to Mommy. He just has a minor cold, I think, but is requiring all of my attention. My plan for today is to eat as much protein as possible and NO CARBS! I weighed in at Curves this morning and they only show me losing 4.5 lbs for 2 months! I don't get it. I am going to do No Carb for 2 days but bump the calories up as much as I can. I know this has worked in the past so I am going to try it again. I need a jump start. Breakfast: 1 egg scramble with cheese Snack: low carb protein shake Lunch: Turkey breast- 4-6 oz or as much as I can eat Snack: Low carb protein shake Dinner: Baked fish with side salad Snack: Adkins protein bar I actually plan to eat as often as I can today. I have plenty of turkey and chicken in the fridge so I can grab a piece on the run. Exercise Curves 1 hour- Done upper body weights walk with DJ (if he feels up to it) Hope you all have a great day! HI VALORIE Hope your little one is feeling better - MOMMY can always make us feel better sounds like you have a plan do you use fitday to keep track of your daily intake? I am always surprised at my carbs!!!! even though I usually try to eat GOOD carbs -- today they were NOT good -- I had a bridal shower today - its so hard to really KNOW that calories I took in ...so I guesstimated on fit day - not sure how close I am but - I am worried about the salt they use to prepare things in a resturaunt. achieveone protein drink 1 serving 120 0 5 20 Pasta with cheese and meat sauce 1/4 cup 92 5 8 5 Chicken or turkey with cream sauce (mixture) 1 cup 390 23 14 30 Coffee cake, NFS party of a peice of cake (I know bad ) 137 4 22 3 talipa 4 oz 93 1 0 21 Corn on the cob 59 0 14 2 SF hazelnut creamer 5 tblspns 75 5 5 0 lots of crystal light Totals 1065 calories 38 fat 68 carbs 81 protein exercise 30 minutes walked hilly up and down on tread mill 30 minutres weight training arms calories burned 315 (a whimp work out today) hugs, Britt

Valorie, Hope you were able to succeed in your low, low carb day! How did it go? I've got to take the time to post my plan(s) too. Yesterday my plan didn't go as planned!! My husband took off work a little early and we toured 17 luxury homes at a home show. About halfway through I was TOTALLY empty and feeling slightly sick so we stopped at the little snackbar and divided one of those big pretzels. The choices weren't healthy so I figured part of an unsalted pretzel wouldn't gag me and I felt revived and was able to tour the second half. We decided we weren't hungry enough for dinner but about 9 I decided air popped popcorn was just what I wanted. Now, I know that eating the pretzel probably got me craving more carbs and skipping dinner sure didn't help so I got right back on the wagon this morning and I'm doing well. We did eat out this evening but I ordered a small filet mignon and brought part home. With that I ate a small salad and part of a baked sweet potato. Valorie, I think I'll join you in a much lower carb day tomorrow (Sunday). Hope your son is feeling much better. Lots of people I know are coming down with colds too. CeCe
