Weekly Weigh In week of 10/1
Hello! Lets see. I would like to reach 145 so that makes 7 more lbs to goal. Although the closer I get I am thinking maybe of trying for 140 but we will see. I am actually very happy where I am now. It a seems as though the more I lose the more the loose skin bothers me. Mine is all in my very lower abdomen and in my upper thighs/hips.
Alright here are my stats for the week:
Start weight: 268
Last week: 152
This week:152
Loss this week: 0
Total loss: 116
Everyone have a terrific week!!
Hugs,
Kim
Hello my November friends hope everyone is doing well. Well today is a special day for me, today I dropped below the 300 pound mark with today's weight of 299 pounds. The first time I met with my Doctor who did my RNY on 7/3/06, I remember him telling me he could do my surgery even at my weight at that time of 613 pounds. When he told me he could see me getting down to 250 pounds I thought he was off his rocker. Well now I know it is possible, and I WILL get to my goal.(which to answer today's question is 49 more pounds). It is getting to the point that when someone asks me how much weight I have lost, and I tell them 245 pounds in 11 months unless they know and understand about RNY surgery I wonder if they believe me, heck sometimes I don't even believe it my self. LOL. Hope everyone has a great week...............Alan

Alan,
WTG! You should be so proud of yourself. I know the WLS gave us a tool but YOU really worked it! All of those workouts and protein shakes were well worth it. I am trilled for you. Just realizing your surgeons goal of 250 lbs is reachable is very exciting. And 12 lbs lost for 1 week at 11 months post op is unheard of.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your success with us.
