I'm in the hospital

Kim, I just don't know what to say to give you comfort. I am praying that the docs get to the bottom of you situation and FIX IT PRONTO! You may have to keep on their behinds day and night to get this accomplished but do not settle for less. Ride them till you get answers. You are in for medical problems; don't let them brush you off because they may not believe in WLS. Some doc's are still in the Stone Age and will blame everything on WLS when there could be other reasons behind your illness. Is there anyone affiliated with that hospital that does WLS or specifically MGB? Request a consult with someone familiar with WLS. Insist on it! Not many docs are equipped with the knowledge of how to treat us and these, withholding food to someone malnourished, are preposterous! I think you should post the phone number to that hospital and we will all take turns calling to blast them! If you were in for dehydration, would they withhold water???? GRRRRRR.
