Wanda, You are very talented in interior design! Beautiful pictures! I love red too! My upstairs den is mostly red, glass and chrome. It all started with a fantastic red leather couch we found and went from there! The ceiling is cathedral and one wall is vivid red. The other walls are Ralph Lauren River Rock textured in gray. The floor is gray slate. There are 2 red leather dining chairs at a small glass table at one end. This room always surprises people and they seem to like it! One thing about myself that you guys don't know is that while living in Holland for 8 years, I went to an intensive language course with people from all over the world in order to pass an international test to be able to attend a university in Holland. I had a degree from an American university already but totally enjoyed meeting people from so many countries. I was even exposed to TB by my friend from Tibet and underwent a year of treatment! That intensive language course was a year long and I did attend a university but only one semester because I got a job.

Your upstairs den sounds fabulous! It sounds as if you are a talented interior designer too! You really had some adventures in Holland! TB and all! I bet living in Holland was an amazing experience.

That sounds like great fun! I used to love to do that kind of stuff too. I'm glad you find time for it. It can be so therapuetic! You could go into business. I know I spend a fortune on beaded necklaces.

You have a gorgeous home... I struggle just to keep mine somewhat picked up, let alone as beautiful and neat as yours is.... You have a great talent... Shawn M.

Thanks, Shawn. The rooms I use don't stay clean. We only use his office, the den, the kitchen, and one bedroom. That leaves half of the house untouched! Unless the grandkids are over, the house stays pretty put-together. I guess that's one benefit of getting older and being empty nesters.

Wanda, you have a very lovely home! I'm jealous, I can't decorate like that. My house is OK, but not as nice as I'd like. I think it looks so mish-mash. I, like Deb, also bead. I LOVE designing beaded jewelry. I'm just getting back into it after a couple years break. I used to do it quite a bit a few years ago before my mom passed away, then my life got too hectic and the beading went on hold. It's so therapeutic for me, I just recently brought it out again and I'm creating again. I'm going to get a booth at a craft bazaar in November, and see how it goes. Here is a link to a website I designed a few years ago. I have not updated it recently, but there are some examples of my work. http://www.freewebs.com/kolsondesigns
