911......
Kenya,
Even though it was hard to watch, I felt drawn to MSNBC's replay of coverage that morning. It's hard to believe it's been six years. I had taught a very early morning Spinning class and my husband was home that day. We stayed glued to the television and could not believe what was happening from one minute to the next. We can never forget. I have some very strong opinions about our having gone into Iraq and George Bush's policies but on 9/11 all of us were New Yorkers and it breaks my heart that so many suffered and continue to suffer.

It was a sad day indeed! Before that happened I think most Americans thought that we would never be attacked in our own country like that. It still makes us realize how vulnerable we are.
Amen - Prayers - and remembering all the lives lost - today and always
I went to school with one of the firefighters ... I remember him in elementary school telling me that HE was GOING TO BE A NYC FIREFIGHTER!
and he was! (he leaves behind a wife and 2 young kids)
God bless him and all of the brave men and women of that sad day.
I am on Long Island ... and that day I was teaching a class at work and left early - it was SO WEIRD driving home - people with AMERCAN FLAGS everywhere - hanging off cars... It was somber. I couldn't wait to get home!!!
it was soooooo close to home for me ....
hugs,
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
