I don't recognize myself!

You know how when you are doing excursions on the islands and they take your picture, then hunt you down to buy it after they print it? On three seperate occasions they handed me a picture and I glanced at it and told them they have the wrong picture. But each time it really was me! I never knew that my self image was so off! It was so weird! I put a few new pics of my trip on the profile. I had a blast. I can't believe it's over already. It feels like I was just getting ready to go and now it's over

It was a VERY relaxing and happy trip. No cell phones or emails. I made the mistake of checking my work email when I got back on land--144 messages (all urgent of course!) I'll be paying for taking time off this week. I'm getting grumpy just thinking about going back to work in the morning.

Wanda, Great pictures! Look at your legs. I would kill for those gams! I am glad you had a good time. I am sure you will be happily surprised when you get on the scale. It sounds like you made good choices and all of the exercise surely helped. Hugs, Valorie

Thanks. My legs can get quite muscular. I'm trying to work on biceps and triceps now to fill up my skin.

Wanda, It sounds like you had such a great time! That's a funny wow moment too. And you look wonderful! Sorry you have to come back to reality already. Don't you just wish you could live there? I went on a cruise a few years ago and can't wait to do it again. It was so much fun and so beautiful. This time I'll be in a lot better shape and looking a lot better too! Take care, Susan

Being in better shape this time around made all the difference. I felt so self conscience and out of place when I went in 2005. I felt confident and at ease this time!

It didn't help that I had more highlights put in my hair before I left. When I glanced at the pictures I thought I saw a skinny light haired woman. I see myself as a stocky dark-haired person. The islanders must have thought I was a nut-case to hand the pictures back and tell them that they aren't of me!
