So here's the plan
I'm going to call my PCP and discuss my past history with IBS. I will also discuss this Habba Syndrome. I would like to get some tests run to rule out these things. If I need to I will go to a gastroenterologist. I just really don't think my bathroom problems are totally related to WLS.
There are a few things I can try first before I give in to the thought of revision. My research is on, and time is ticking. Lord, help me to find an answer to this so I don't go downhill and end up dead.
God forbid!
downhill missy!
Do your research and be diligent about it!!!!!
keep us posted.
I know you "want" there to be another reason for this ...but it "may" be related from your WLS ...
just don't have blinders on ... get all your facts and make an educated decision - on the best course of action for your health AND YOUR LIFE Kim!!!!
hugs,
Britt
Kim,
I hope you find out exactly what the problem is and it can be treated without the revision so you don't have to go under the knife again (and PAY!). I cannot imagine having the intestinal problems you lived with for months on end. I had some virus or something a few months ago and had diarrhea for a week. It was horrible having to be near a bathroom or trying to find one on very short notice.
