I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS, PLEASE

Our daughter was finally approved for RNY, and her surgery date is August 31,2007. She was brave up until the time that they gave her a date and now she is scared. It is a big dicision and she knows without a doubt that she made the right dicision, she just stop's to think and then she is off and running. I just need everyone to pray for her that she will get though this surgery just fine and be a happier person, she has so many co-morbidties and I know that she will be feeling as great as we do once she get's though Friday, so please everyone lets start to pray for our Nancy, and everyone else that is going to have their surgery, that they will be in good hands. I will keep Nancy in my thoughts and prayers. Once she begins the losing process, she will feel much better. It is hard on us mentally for the first little while though. Make sure she stays connected to OH or some support system. Other than you of course. You are a great support, I am sure. She is welcome here anytime even if she isn't a November 06 surgery. Wow, I remember that time before I had my surgery. I remember those feelings too. I was excited and knew I made the right decision, but I was still scared. Even in the hospital. And I ended up being amazed at how well I came through, and how easy the recovery was for me. I pray it is that easy for her. She should feel some comfort knowing you've been through it and will be there for her. You're a great mom!
