Cece,
Thanks for the extended congrats!!!!!
That's what is so scary to me .... we do it .... and think "i've finally got it!!!!" and then we slowly allow 1 or 2 bad habits to creep back AND FIND OURSELVES gaining!!!
I did a lot of research and though i read that YOU NEED TO WORK YOUR TOOL, IT ISN'T MAGIC, AND IT ISN'T EASY .... i though for me it will be different ...."i really don't care as long a i lose the weight" ... honestly it is much harder than I anticipated!
Worth the work .... but WORK!!!!
I DO NOT want to EVER return to those bad habits!!!!!
I think staying connected, support, FOLLOWING THE RULES ...ALWAYS and accountability are KEY to long term success!
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR "STRAWS" WITH US!
congrats on your .75 week and your 92.75 pound weight loss
hugs,
Britt

My last straw as many others was my health especially my knees. I had my 2nd knee surgery in 3 yrs and was still having a lot of pain 7 months later. I went to my ortho dr 2 weeks before I was to go to California and started crying because my knees hurt so bad and I almost didn't want to go because I knew I would have so much trouble site seeing/walking around. He ended up giving me cortisone shots that helped but I knew it would just be a temporary fix. I came back and made the decision to have wls and had surgery 3 months later. I also had high blood pressure, insulin resistence, asthma, ect...
Alright so my stats this week:
Start weight: 268
Last week: 160
This week:159
Loss this week:1
Total loss: 109
Yippee I am out of the Nada Zip Club!!!!!
Hugs,
Kim
Congrats Britt and Valorie on loosing your 100+ pounds. Lianna sorry for your loss.
Well my straw was that being almost 300 pounds my fibromyalgia had gotten so bad that I couldn't exercise and I was in so much pain I was taking a handful of pain killers everyday. I think one of the nicest things my husband said to me after my surgery was that he was looking forward to retiring with me and us being able to do whatever we wanted.
I have had week from you know what. I am so short staffed at work that I have to go out and then my normal work doesn't get done. I'm battling stress eating and didn't get any exercise in. I did go to my support group last night and felt a lot better after airing all my problems. My one employee is coming back on Tuesday after labor day so things will start looking better.
Here are my stats:
Starting weight 298.5
Last week = 169.8
This week = 168.5
Loss this week = 1.3
Total loss = 130.0
Current BMI = 30.8
Everyone have a fabulous week.
