Have any of you noticed that your sight has changed? About a month ago I noticed my near vision has gotten horrible? Have you heard if this is a side effect or a vitamen that I might be missing?

Actually Sharon, I just went to the eye doc and my vision is exactly the same. I am not sure how old you are but close up vision getting bad is a natural sign of aging. Mine changed at about 38. Doc says if it is going to happen it usually starts at about 40ish. If you are taking your vitamins and your labs are good, then I would look for another reason for the sight changes. Go to the eye doc and get them checked for sure. Hugs, Valorie

My vision seems to have gotten worse in the last year as well but I chalked it up to getting older. I had laser surgery in 2001 and the doctor told me then that I would probably need reading glasses around age 40, which was last year. I haven't gotten them checked yet - I guess I should go ahead and get that done while I still have vision insurance! Susan

Goodness! I never considered that. My vision has gotten awful over the ast year. I'm going to go ahead and get my blood work done soon to make sure everything is ok.

I've also read that as we lose weight, we lose weight in our eyeball sockets and fat from inside the eye and this can cause changes in vision. I know mine is worse up close, but it was going before I had surgery. I'm 44 and it's time for that presbyopia to kick in anyway.
