Oh Blah!
Therese,
It's now been a couple of days since your post so the scale might have dropped by now. Like Shawn, I'm amazed that this is your first little hiccup during your journey. That is amazing! And, you have lost an INCREDIBLE amount of weight since last August! Like Britt said, sometimes your body just has to adjust! Can you IMAGINE the conversation going on in your cells? "What the HECK is she doing?" Whatever fat cells are left are trying to run and hide and they are screaming: "Help, help, I'm shrinking! I'm shrinking!!!!!" You know, those fat cells are like ****roaches! They multiple like crazy but fight extinction like warriors! Hey, too bad there isn't Raid For Fat Cells!!
Hi CeCe!
I guess I should be VERY grateful that this is my first "mini-stall". I have been very very lucky to lose at least a little something each week.
Your words have helped so much. You are so right=my poor body is adjusting. And as long as I am aware of my intake-and keep it where it should be-the weight WILL come off-eventually. We know we are not going to stay the same or gain if we are intaking between 700-900 calories of the right stuff.
I just need to take it easy and stay focused!!
Thanks again!
Therese
Therese,
I am late posting but I wanted you to know that I had a UTI and was on cipro a couple of weeks ago and gained 4 or 5 lbs! Your body holds on to fluid when you have one so you don't lose weight due to water retention. Don't worry at all. As soon as the UTI is gone you will drop several pounds. The week after I got all better, I had a 9 lb loss for the week! I bet you will be surprised next week. Keep doing your thing and the weight will drop.
Hugs,
Valorie
Hi Valorie!!
OH! Thanks for posting! I had wondered what the heck was up with this sort of bloated feeling! I am totally going to stay focused and positive. We know we will eventually drop this weight so long as we follow the rules!!
I really thank you for your post-it makes me feel LOTS better!!
Hugs!
Therese
