Britt and all the November Buddies,
I love reading these reports even if some weeks I'm discouraged with my own weight loss (not this week!). I'm off to an eye appointment so I don't have time right now to post replies yet. I'm still thinking about what I thought I'd never do before WLS but as far as steps forward I have to say that I don't mind having my picture made now. I don't mind looking in mirrors as much. We have passes to an amusement park and I used to worry about fitting into rides and now I don't have to. I don't have to even think about whether I'll fit into a booth at a restaurant! I don't have to worry that children will make rude comments. Now, I've been on this journey a long time and lost a lot of weight and then regained 60 of what I lost. I looked at a picture of me at my absolute highest weight (298!) and I almost cried. I can't even remember that person but I knew I was headed back there despite all the exercise so I chose WLS. I thought I would never choose WLS but it's probably the best decision I ever made and I now don't have to limit my dreams.
Starting Weight: 245.25
Last Weight: 155.75
This Week: 154.75
Loss This Week: 1 lb
Total Loss: 90.50
BMI: 26.6
(I made a mistake in my calculating last week so I'm really just now getting to 90.50 pounds)
I have my 9 month appointment with my surgeon tomorrow and he'll see my weight loss has REALLY slowed down the last 3 pounds but I'm going to keep working my program and fight against growing portion sizes and snack cravings to reach my goal!
When are you doing the relay? Way to go and good luck to you!! That is just AWESOME.
I haven't made any plans to do anything special yet. No relays, walks or anything like that. Maybe I should make that a next goal but I am still stuck on the wl goal that I really want to hit. 1 more pound for the Century Mark for you. YOU CAN DO IT
Missed weigh in yesterday morning so did it this morning on my scale not the Curves scale so here are the results since last week.

Last week = 191
This week = 186
Loss this week = 5
Total loss = had lost 72 pounds but not anymore back down to 70.5.

Good to see everyone has maintained or lost. I didn't think I was going anywhere this week, but got on the scale this morning and was surprised.
Starting weight 349
Last week = 214
This week = 212.5
Loss this week = 1.5
Total loss = 136.5
My plan is to take my first cruise next year with some of my family. I never wanted to travel anywhere, because my knees hurt so badly that I couldn't walk very much and I wouldn't enjoy myself. I'm only 43 years old and haven't really gone anywhere, so I would like to go see places, just not sure which ones yet( The Grand Canyon is on my list though).
