Y-O-U are invited - Weekly Weigh in 8/13
Double century mark
Well today I stepped on the scale and it read 344 that's 200 lost since the day of my RNY. I guess working out 6 days a week is finally starting to pay off. I know I still have a long road ahead of me to lose another 94 pounds to go to my goal weight of 250. I am confident that now that I have set up a good workout routine I will be able to reach my goal, and with a little PS I may even hit the triple century mark.
I one thing I would of never been able to do without WLS is live a long healthy life to share with my wife. And that means more to me than anything I would ever wanted or have done.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Congratulations, Alan! I just wanted to tell you that after you first posted on this ste I went back and read your entire blog and could not even believe all that you have been through, before and since WLS. What an inspiration you are and, on top of that, what a SURVIVOR!!!! Keep up the great work and keep posting so we will know when you hit goal! Let's hope all of us that will end up having Plastic Surgery will sail through that and finally get the bodies we want - not perfection but able to wear whatever we want!!!
Well, after my really bad day and gaining the 4 pounds last week I did take that back off to make it a zero loss for the week.. But I am happy with that...
I also started exercising today... I walked 1 mile and jogged for 1/2 a mile. Last time I was on my treadmill I could only do 3/4 of a mile, so I am proud of how much I was able to do. I want to stay at that for about a month, then I will bump it up a bit. In about a year I would like to do some sort of small triathalon or something like that, so I have to keep my butt moving on the treadmill if I want to do that. I know I can do it, even though my mom and sister claim that it would be too hard for me. I am going to challenge my sister to do it with me too. She climbs mountains so lets see if she can do this... LOL...
So here are my stats:
Starting weight = 309
Current weight = 185
Last weeks weight = 185
Loss this week = 0
Total loss = 124
Everyone is doing such a great job! We should all be proud of what we have achieved! We have come so far and are so much healthier for it. A big CONGRATS to everyone!!!

A relay race! I Love it! Good for you!!
As far as my weight loss goes...let's just take what I said last week and stutter because it's exactly the same.
Starting weight 234
Last weigh-In = 147
This week = 147
Loss this two weeks = 0
Total loss = 87
I'm going to be ok with that because I joined a new gym and have been working out hard. My muscles are sore and swollen so I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing regardless of what the scale says.
Hi Britt,
I haven't had the courage to try running/jogging yet. The last time I tried I ended up hurting my knee and having surgery. Oh course that was before I lost 108 lbs so I should give it a try. I do use my gazelle and get going at a pretty good pace o it!
I am also doing the Race for the Cure and the Walk from Obesity. But I have done a lot of these walks. With that said I am looking forward to walking them and not hurting afterward!!
Here are my stats for the week:
Starting weight: 268
Last week: 160
This week:160
Loss this week: 0
I had gained 1.5 last week and still haven't lost it yet. But overall I had a much better week. Much more in control of my stress eating. It will also be that lovely time of the month by the end of this week so that may be some of it.
Hope everyone has a terrific week!!!
