I think I dumped
Britt,
Yep, your dumped! My lowley opinion is that you probalby ate the penuts and pretzels too quickly. Since you had the same thing earlier with no problems, you were probably in a "hurry" to get some food in you and didn't realize you ate too quickly. I have done this myself on the rare occasion. The scenareo goes like this. I am fine after I eat then about 10-20 minutes later the torture begins. General feeling yucky, heart racing, unable to focus or think then about 10-15 minutes after the first symptoms, things try to come up. I usually don't have very much to come up but it makes a valiant effort to expell itself from my pouch. I think this happens to us after we eat too quickly then the carbs start to break down and turn to sugar too quickly in our intestines. When we eat the same things more slowly, the food is not all clumped together in one spot in our intestines thus giving it time to digest at different rates.
Anyway, you know the drill. Avoid the carbs and definately take your time when eating if you do endulge occasionally. Also, I have also found that if I lay down as soon as the symptom**** they don't usally progress as badly. Usually I am good for nothing for at least 2 hours after this happens.
FYI... I have felt badly many times after eating but have only 3 times. And believe me 3 times was 3 times too many!
Hugs,
Valorie
I have found out that I dump as well, but unfortunately it takes a lot to make me dump. I think dumping can be a good thing for some of us... I wish I were a bit more sensitive and did dump.... Consider yourself lucky I guess... It sure can be a horrible experience though.. Sorry you went through it...

Britt,
That sure sounds like dumping to me! I play around a little with carbs and end up paying the price sometimes! I also noticed that I can dump if I have too much fat, regardless of carbs. And, like you, I can also eat something one day and be fine and then dump on it the next time! There are definitely healthier carbs out there (and also keep portion control in mind). Your body needs carbs after lifting weights/ exercise. To actually rebuild and maintain muscle.. you need complex carbs. I try (big emphasis on try) to limit my carbs to after my workouts.
Despite all that... you look AMAZING!!!! Your 9 month pic is awesome! Way to go!
Whatever your doing, it is working!
