I t's been two weeks since I reported in. I came back from convention at 146 then dropped to 145.5--that's 1/2 pound away from a normal BMI but my weight bounced back up. They told me that I couldn't exercise for a whole week after my biopsy. That's crazy! I'm going to start again today. Here are my stats:
Starting weight 234
Last weigh-In = 149
This week = 147
Loss this two weeks = 2
Total loss = 87
I plan to get a tummy tuck and breast lift as my little gift to myself when I reach goal. I may readjust my goal weight. I set it at 134 because that would give me an even 100 pounds. I may decide that 140'ish is a better place for me since I am muscular and well...a little older.
Hello, Brit (and welcome back) and everyone,
I haven't posted in a couple of weeks but I've been working hard and watching the Tour De France! Lots of working out, going to Physical Therapy, eating as well as I can and the scale finally started moving again. I think we are all doing great paying such close attention to what and how much we are eating. I tend to get discouraged if the scale gets stalled - just like I did in previous dieting attempts - but this time I try to remember that if I work this tool, it will work for me. I hate the fact that I allow the number on the scale to dictate my mood and self-esteem. I have to really psych myself up during the slumps.
I will celebrate my success with having a tummy tuck and hopefully eventually getting my underarms done as well. I'll probably end up with a boob job too!
Starting weight: 245.25
Current: 155.75
Total Loss: 91.50
BMI: 26.7
Hi Britt and everyone. I love reading these weekly updates.
I have been celebrating hitting my goal for a couple months now. I just keep buying new clothes. All I can say is thank goodness I found a resale shop that I love. I spent $44 this weekend buying 3 pair of pants, 4 skirts, one silk dress, one sweater, a leather belt, a hat for Henry and sandals. It's just insane how cheap this place is and how nice the clothes are. Three of the pieces I got were BRAND NEW with the tags still on! I had to buy new work clothes because I'm down to a size 2 now. That's insane also. The 4's are getting baggy.
Bad news is I had a couple rough days with a stomach thing and am down to 106. I am so depressed, I don't know if that's down 2 or more from last week, but it's 4 under where I said I would not get below. I have a dr. appt. on Thursday with my PCP to evaluate me for hernia surgery. I suspect she will call my surgeon and they will probably talk about a revision. I don't know HOW I would do that, since I don't have another $17,000 laying around or available on my line of credit. But if that is what it comes to, I will find some way. I'm not going to die because of this.
Thing is, I feel just fine. I'm not in poor health. I still have energy. I am just little! I've posted some pics on my profile of our recent kayaking trip. And I made a NEW album with wedding pics. Maybe you can check them out and see if you all think I look anorexic or anything. I'm really starting to get depressed about this.
Starting weight 202
Last week = don't remember
This week = 106
Loss this week = yep, and I'm not happy!
Total loss = 96
Current BMI = 18.2

Hello All!
I haven't posted often. Lately, I haven't even had time to lurk. Today I needed to touch base with others, so HELLO EVERYBODY, I am Mary and here are my stats:
Starting weight= 232
Last week = 148
This week= 146 (2 pounds lost this week after a three week stall)
Total loss = 86lbs
Current BMI = 26
Just when I thought it was over I lost two more pounds. YEAH! I would be thrilled with my results if it was to stop now, but another 10-15 pounds gone would be heavenly. Maybe I'll get there, maybe not. Whatever happens my life has been changed forever by this wonderful tool.
I am thrilled to see that all you November folks are progressing so well. Congrats to each of you.
Hope you all have a great week.
Mary

Hi Mary! I noticed that our starting weight and current weight is almost identical!
Hi everyone! Well I had a rough week. Very stressed at work and then on top of it all my patients kept bringing in goodies. Which isn't good when I am stressed!! I need to figure out a better way to handle this. I was trying to drink more water if I had the urge to eat the goodies that they bring. I do have to admit that I did really limit myself it I ate something when in the past I would have eaten a whole lot more.
I haven't decieded on how to celebrate reaching goal. I have barely picked a goal. I usually just say somewhere around 145. I guess I really need to start thinking about it since I am only about 15 lbs away. I would love to say a tummy tuck and breast lift (I hate how saggy they are). But I haven't had any probs with rashes ect. and can't afford it myself. Plus I would like to have kids first.
Ok so here is my stats:
Start weight: 268
Last week: 158.5
This week: 160
Gain this week: +1.5
Total loss: 108
Hugs,
Kim
