Wanda, That is such great news! What a burden must be lifted from your now smaller shoulders. However, I am very surprised to hear your words "I've been too busy at work to take time off." YOU KNOW BETTER! Work will be there when we are dead and gone. If you don't take care of your health, you will have wasted your WLS gift. Ok enough of my soap box. I am very happy for you. Enjoy your revelation! Valorie

I know it's stupid to put work before health! My job gets overwhelming and I let it get the best of me sometimes. None of it matters when you don't have your health though. You are right to scold me, girlfriend!

Oh what great news for you Wanda. I know exactly how works get in the way but we have to take care of ourselves after all we were smart enough to have this surgery. Deb

I did think of that too. I thought "Dang, I'm just getting energetic enough to really enjoy life and now this?" I agree -we wouldn't want to mess up our wls with any illness. Life is too precious.

Thanks, Shawn! I guess I won't be getting new breasts out of the deal after all but I'm glad to be healthy.

Well, the saga continues. I just saw the surgeon for the aspiration. She couldn't do it because she said the ultasound shows only a 2.8cm cyst but the mass that can be seen and felt in my breast is huge. She said she isn't prepared to say that it is not cancer. She sees residue under it (I have no idea what that means). I have to go to the hospital for an ultrasound guided aspiration. She said after the fluid is screened for cancer we can be about 90% certain that it is not cancer. I guess it's not over 'til it's over! Thanks for all the input. We even have a resident expert--thanks Sandy! It was good to get your views on this since you have so much experience with it. Hope you all are having a great day. It has been raining like crazy here in Florida!
