I hope that all of you are enjoying your SUMMER so far! (I am )
Question of the week ----> Who has made exercise a part of your NEW life?
Share with us ...what do you? for how long? how often? do you enjoy it?
I now exercise daily and enjoy it. (If I happen to miss a day it really bothers me ... what a change!!!!) Each day I do 30 minutes of cardio (jogging on the treadmill or the elliptical) followed by 30 minutes of weight training, alternating upper / lower body.

Starting weight 250.5
Last week = 155
This week = 155
Loss this week = 0
Total loss = 95.5
Current BMI = 25

Congrats Britt,
You are right there at a "normal" BMI. I am so proud of you maintaining a 8 lb loss from last week, that is so awesome. You are doing great with the exercise, much better than me.
Here go my stat's for the week:
Starting weight = 273
Surgery Date Weight = 263
Last Week = 131
This Week = 129.5
Loss this week = 1.5 lbs
Loss since surgery = 133.5
Total Loss = 143.5
BMI = 20.9
As far as exercise, I have made it a part of my new life but not nearly enough. I do aerobics about 20 minutes a day. Last week I added weight training 3 x weekly, right now I HATE IT! I am keeping with it, so we will see if it grows on me.

Glad to hear about your exercise plan ... Hopefully you will eventually LIKE your new exercise plan with weights. Give it time
I cannot wait to lose another pound and OFFICIALLY have a 'normal BMI' !!!!

I had a good week, especially since I was traveling.
Starting weight 234
Last week = 151.5
This week = 149 (two days in a row so I know it's real!)
Loss this week = 2.5
Total loss = 85
Current BMI = 25.6
My gym is very limited. They dropped the evening exercise class. Since I got the heart rate monitor I've been using the treadmill for an hour maybe 3x week. I can usually leave early one day a week to make the 4:30 pm class. I found a butt and gut class in the town where I work that is offered two days a week. I think I can make it one of those days. So, in other words--I'm scrounging to get enough exercise in any way I can.

Hi Britt,
I had a great week, my weight training is slowing my scale down, but my inches are dimenishing rapidly. I am wearing a size 14-16 with a weight of 211.5. That just don't add up. I enjoy doing the weight training with my personal trainer. I will continue to have a trainer for the first year of WLS. I wish the scale can reflect my size a little more. Oh Well!!

I had a great week on the scale not so great week last week I had one of the worst fibromyalgia flair-ups I've ever had so I had to table all exercise last week. Because of my Fibro I find exercising hard but I do try to do Aqua Jogging 3 times a week and if I'm feeling good I walk on the elliptical. I'm going to try bike riding and try to add a little strength training to my routine.
Starting weight 298.5
Last week = 177.2
This week = 173.2
Loss this week = 4
Total loss = 125.3
Current BMI = 31.7
