Your son is very handsome.. I am sure you are very proud.... I think all my babies are cute and adorable too.... It is our job, but ours really are cute... I will be heading off to my son's boot camp graduation in just about 5 more weeks myself.... Hope you have a good time and enjoy your couple of days with him.... Shawn M.

Thanks Shawn. I will enjoy the time with him. I've got a four hour flight with his girlfriend so it will be nice to get to know her a little better too.

Sooooo handsome! He really does look like a young Elvis. I bet he hears that all the time. I hadn't looked at your pics in a while. You seriously take some nice photos. I HATE all of mine. I always think I look terrible but sure don't have that problem. The one at Bear Lake is AWSOME! The reflection in the water is like nothing I have never seen before. You really appear to have a charmed life and you certainly deserve it. You are an inspiration to all of us. It is easy to think we are the only ones who have overcome adversity in our lifes untill we hear the stories others have to tell. Everyone has something (or if you are like me, many, many things) in their past that makes us who we are today. Sometimes we are ashamed of them or we try to forget about them but remembering where we came from and what we overcame makes us stronger for tomorrow. God Bless, Valorie

Thank you Valorie. I guess I'm making up for lost time. When I was fat I NEVER would allow my picture to be taken. I don't mind it quite so much now. My life isn't really charmed but I certainly am having fun at this stage of my life. I feel like I'm finally able to come out of my shell and really enjoy my life. As far as our past goes, we can chose to be a victim or we can chose to not be defined by our problems or cir****tances. And you are right, we can overcome anything and it will make us stronger. Let's vow to always rise above whatever comes our way. We are all stronger than we thinkwe are.

Kimberly, I can tell you that my poor hubby couldn't pick me up like that! I guess when you are twenty years old and have a size 0 girlfriend it's easier. Thanks for the compliment on my house. I clipped a picture of a house that was remodeled out of Better Homes and Gardens. It just felt like home to me. Ten years later I found a floor plan that I thought would work well with the exterior picture. I took it to an architech and he made it all work. I always felt it was one of God's little gifts to me. It just worked out perfectly. I still have that picture and it still gives me that same feeling of "home". I love it.

I'm here in Oklahoma right now. I've been up since 2:30 this morning to get here but I will finally get to see my pretty faced boy tomorrow morning! (He would be so mad to read what I call him!) It will be our little secret.

Thank you Leah! It's so hot lately I've gone on strike. I've missed three weekends in a row of not doing anything in the yard. But I have to say that I am missing it. I think our last yard day when we laid 96 bags of pine bark did me in for awhile but when I get back home I think I'll be ready again. We leave Oklahoma tomorrow. We can't wait to get back!
