Well thank you, my friend, Britt! I do have a beautiful life but just since the last few years. I had a terrible and abusive childhood and then I was married to a drug addict for twenty years! I guess it's my turn to have a wonderful peaceful life now!
Wanda!
I never knew about your childhood (grrrrrr that gets me sooooooo mad ) and your first marriage. WOW!
You are amazing to come out so STRONG and CONFIDENT!
I bet you appreciate YOUR life, YOUR family, YOUR marriage, YOUR kids and YOUR health - EVERY SINGLE DAY!
What a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HUGS TO YOU MY FRIEND,
Britt

You're right, I do appreciate my life now. Especially my wonderful husband. He was worth waiting for!
It is a mircle my life turned out so great. I'm not sure how I turned it around. I started my adult life as a highschool drop-out and ended up with a Masters degree in business. I built my beautiful home a year before I met Randy. That feels good that I was able to do that on my own.
I don't regret my rough start in life. It gave me the determination and strength to create a better life.
One thing is for sure--today is the first day of the rest of our lives. So let's make it count!
Wanda, your son is a hottie! WOW! I'll bet he had girls calling him daily from the time he was 10 or even earlier! My husband was in the Air Force for 30 years and it was a good life but God help me, in this day and age, I think it would be hard to make the decision to serve our country in this crazy world. He will be my prayers and I pray that he'll have some wonderful assignment like Hawaii so you can visit him!
I also loved the pictures of your beautiful home and property and hope you know you deserve it all especially not having a good childhood or first marriage! My first short lived marriage was to a man who had alcoholism in his family and I'm sure he would have had plenty of substance abuse issues if he had lived longer. We divorced after only a couple of years marriage and he died about 10 or so years later. I'm glad you found your prince. Thankfully, I found mine long ago!

Isn't he adorable! And so funny! He is a very witty kid. I can't wait to see him again.
I'm glad you were smart enough to bail out of a bad marriage early on. I felt like "I had to stay married" because I was a Christian. Modern day martyr, I guess. Then I realized the bigger sin was the hatred I felt every time I looked at him!
I'm glad you have your prince now. That makes all of the difference in the world!
Wanda, your son is very handsome and he does look like a young Elvis. We keep him in our prayers......
Your home and property are gorgeous, you definately must work hard to keep it looking that good. I saw your other post about your life and you deserve everything and have come so far in life and in this post surgery life. You should be so proud of it all. You are awesome.
BIG HUGS

Thank you Christy. I think YOU are awesome too! I'm glad there are people like you and your husband who open your hearts and your home to adopt the precious forgotten babies in the world.
