Hey Everyone
THANK YOU WANDA for hosting the weekly weigh in last week!
I read through everyone's posts and you ***all**** should be applauded (even those of you who had a slight gain - and STILL posted!).
Special yippee's to ....
KIM - her wedding day was 7/7/07
DONNA - for making the Century Club!
BARB - for a 4 pound week!
SHAWN - for a 7 pound week!!!!!
KIMBERLY - for losing 2.5 on vacation!!
Anyway, Vacation was VERY relaxing last week. We went to the Pocono's. However, vacation was VERY challenging for me - as far as eating goes, I felt as if I had a little angel on one arm saying "Britt enjoy your vacation and your family time - eat to live - this is NOT about the food" while on the other shoulder sat a little devil who said "Britt - give me a break - YOU ARE ON VACATION! Eat - eat!" It was VERY hard ... We came home Friday, I couldn't wait to get back on my home turf - I do soooo much better eating wise. I went on the scale and saw a 6 pound gain, I knew it I could feel (no surprise) that yucky WEIGHT back on! I was 159 when I left and to see 165 was disappointing! I snacked and grazed CARBS CARBS CARBS - what did I expect??? - ... I did jog / exercise 5 out of the 7 days I was happy and thankful I did that! Could you imagine if I didn't??? Anyway when I came home I immediately got back on track. Now its that time of the month (great - perfect timing!)and this morning the scale read 163 - so its official a 4 pound *gain* for me.
Moral of my story .... I have learned that for me there are NO VACATION DAYS after WLS ... if I go back to my old eating habits I WILL NO DOUBT GAIN! I am determined to get to goal and stay there!

Welcome back Britt! I really missed you. I understand all too well how being out of your protected environment can take you off course. I'm spending the next couple of days in Tampa and then I fly to Oklahoma next week. So I feel "at risk". But this week was good for me.
Starting weight 234
Last week = 153.5
This week = 151.5
Loss this week = -2
Total loss = 82.5
Current BMI = 26
6.5 pounds until I have a normal BMI. I would LOVE to claim normalacy!

Loss this week = 4 pounds
Total loss = 105
Current BMI = 41 from 60.5
I had a great active week. Cut down on the carbs.

Good morning everyone. Welcome back Britt! We missed you last week but Wanda was a trouper and did a wonderful job at helping us stay on track.
Hope you all had a marvelous weekend. It was a strange week with the holiday on Wed. I felt like I had 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays. All in all, I had a good week and the scale was kind to me.
Stats for the week:
Starting weight = 348 and BMI 60
Weight on Day of Surgery = 332.5
Last week = 245.4
This week = 242.0
Loss this week = 3.4 lbs
Total loss = 106 lbs
Since surgery 90.5 lbs
BMI today = 41.5
I seem to be on a roll with 2-3 lbs per week lately. I certainly will not complain and I pray the streak continues till I can get to my final goal. My next mini goal is 232. This will give my 100 lbs since surgery.

Hang in there, that weight will be off in no time plus some. You are too positive and motivated to let anything stop you from reaching goal. You Rock!

This Week = 132
Loss this week = 2.5 lbs
Loss since surgery = 131
Total Loss = 141
BMI = 21.3
One more pound till I reach my final final goal of my medically ideal weight of 131 then my goal is to tone up my flabby stomach.... I will real need support and motivation on that task..... I am getting those you are too small comments now.....
