Have you ever noticed things that once looked tiny now look big? I used to notice how small my husbands clothes looked when I did laundry. Now they seem huge. He's six foot tall and within normal weight range so I know he is neither tiny nor huge. It's just my perspective that has changed based on how my own clothes look!

Wanda, It's so funny that you brought this up. Two weeks ago, I needed a pair of "business casual" pants for a work function (am a nurse and always wear scrubs). Well, I didn't have any and didn't want to go buy a pair for one day. My husband, who I always describe as a string bean with hair (who has never had a weight problem in his life), has plenty of pants. So I figured, what the heck? I'll try them on. They were too big!! And yes, before now I have always looked at his clothes as so small. Now they are so big! It truly is all about perspective! Leah

I do see things like this as well, although I also still hold up all my new clothes and think, "there is no way that can fit ME!", but of course they do. It is amazing though how as our sized change, our perspective on size changes as well. Great point Wanda, as usual! Shawn M.

I know what you mean! When I go shopping I hold something up and say "that's too small--there is no way that will fit." But then it does! What a nice surprise. Before the surprise was always the other way...like surprise I've gotten too fat to wear this anymore!

This is so true, glad it is happening to all of us. My husband ordered me a Tshirt I wanted the other day. It came in the mail in this little envelope, when I opened it, I said there is no way this is right, they must have sent a childs medium! But he made me try it on, and miracle of miracles... IT FIT!!! I couldn't believe it. When I do the laundry and hang up those little shirts, I thing there must be someone else living in my house.... Sandy

I especially notice this strange phenomenon with the undies. How can those tiny things fit? Just so weird.

It was great when I could wear my husband and son's size medium t-shirts!

Don't you just love feeling like a normal person! We no longer need a men's size large or a large with any combination of x's along with it!
