Weekly Weigh In week of 6/18
HELLO EVERYONE!
I hope you all had a great week and a nice weekend with your loved ones
I had a though week it was that 'time of the month' (sorry if that's TMI) - I really struggled with snacking this week and 1 day lost it when I ate 10 cookies (800 extra / unneeded calories) I wrote in my blog about my bad food day - to keep it real - !!! Some days are so easy and others are SO hard!!!! To top it all off I had three parties to go to this weekend.
here are my stats:
Starting weight 250.5
Last week = 165
This week = 164.5
Loss this week = .5
Total loss = 86
Current BMI = 26.6
anyway enough about me
Help me in CONGRATULATING Christy on making it to goal! Right on her 7 month post op anniversary!!!! She has been out on a celebratory shopping spree ...hopefully she will put down her credit card and her size 6's for a minute and join us!

We were having that conversation at coffee on Saturday of how it comes evey month and we want to eat and eat. Good thing it's only once a month.

So I have also a bad week this week. Lots of emotions and fighting those inner demons that lead me down this path in the first place. Been fighting a lot with hubby which always makes me reach for food. However through it all, I didn't gain very much only a half pound which is certainly a heck of a lot better than I could have seven months ago. After a week like this I would have gained 3 to 4 pounds and would be back on a bad cycle. However, I know that it was just a bad week on top of my body trying to stall after losing 9 pounds in 3 weeks, mostly in just over a week. So I'm picking myself back up and I'm going to do my best this week to do better! We CAN do this and I WILL do it! Here's my stats for the week though
Starting weight 278
Last weigh-in 163
Weight now 163.5
Gained .5
Total lost - 115 lbs!!!!!! (Can't bring myself to change it that little bit, LOL)
Starting BMI = 47
Current BMI = 27.5
I hope ya'll had a better week than me, lol!

*sigh* Had we done this yesterday I could have reported a 1/2 pound loss for the week. Today I have to report a 1/2 pound gain.

Thank you so much for the very special congratulations, I am still in disbelief that I am at goal!!! The mind issue is NOT there, I forget that I am actually thin now and sometimes still want to hide like I did 7 months ago. The mind is not completely there yet.
I understand about snacking is hard, I had to fight it yesterday pretty hard but still ended up with a bite from a cupcake. Fortunately, I was able to stop with one bite. We had chips in the house yesterday too and I was fighting the urge for Doritos as well but was able to stay away from those with the help of Nacho Cheese protein chips. I have my husband on board finally with the change of eating habits. We are keeping a vegetable tray and some sort of cut up fruit at all times in the house and that seems to keep away inappropriate snacking.
However, congratulations on losing .50 lbs, it sure beats a gain........ I am sure that TOM didn't help.....

Loss this week = 3 lbs
Loss since surgery = 124.5
Total Loss = 134.5
BMI = 22.3
I have lost almost 1/2 of myself. That is unbelievable................
