I booked a cruise today

The cruise line said that they usually don't refund in the event of a hurricane because they still sail. They said that they just alter their route so that they go in a different direction. She said "Of, course if you feel that you need to stay because your house is being damaged, that's your decision". 
And we thought compassion was a thing of the past!
