I've never been so happy to have my weekend plans ruined..but it's finally raining in Florida! Good for the water levels, good for the landscaping, and good for beating down the Florida wildfires. Sounds like a good day to clean my house instead of playing outside! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend in whatever you chose to do.
Hello Wanda,
Right now I'm eating my breakfast, yes it's noon, but I woke up late
I'm eating a yummy bowl of cereal from the sample packs "honey almond" Very good, like sweetend cheerios.
Today I am going to take the kiddies to the library, possibly the park if it's not too wet or raining....if it is too wet, then I guess we will come home & clean...hahahah they will LOVE that.
Have a good weekend everyone!!

Julie, I hardly recognized you! I like the new look! You are doing great.
You guys make me feel old. You still have little ones to keep you busy. Hope you had fun at the library. My daughter used to love to spend Saturdays at the library--my son never did. It was always baseball on Saturdays when he was young. I miss those days but I have to say I'm having a great time these days being an "empty nester".
Hey Wanda!
I went and got a NEW SHORT LIL' HAIR CUT! I love it!!!! Took my daughter to a friends birthday party and tonight we have her dance recital. Tomorrow we are possibly going on a friends boat - if we can get grandma and grandpa to babysit that is. I post a new picture in a few days for my 7 month post op picture and you can see my NEW DOOO
have fn staying inside and cleaning ... i love days like that once in a while
HUGS,
Britt

Yeah! I can't wait to see the new hair! I remember those dance recital days. Ours took hours. I'm not sure if they are all like that. I loved them though. With six grandsons and no granddaughters I doubt I'll see another one.
My plans changed today. My husband is an overachiever and had me out there landscaping with him during a topical storm. We were the only customers today in the plant nursery. It was so funny. We're both exhausted but yet he is still outside fixing his landscape lighting that got messed up during the power outage today.
I am a little late so I'll tell what I did because it was so fun! My surgeon's support group meetings are on the first Sat. of the month so I was going and a friend that had surgery about six weeks ago said lets go together. Then she found someone else to go with us - I knew her too so I was great with it. She if 5 years out. We went and had lunch then to the support group meeting than "shopping." We went by GNC and our doctor's resource center. It was great! We talked surgery a lot.

It's so great you have a support system like that. I still haven't even told my family that I had surgery. lol. If I told my family it would get back to my employees, and then it would be spread through the community. My organization is the largest employer in town. Everything I say or do becomes news! I just didn't want the gossip and well-meaning comments to deal with. You guys (and my wonderful husband) are the only ones that know. There are pros and cons to keeping my situation private. I'm just glad I have the November board to be transparent with!
Hey Wanda!
I put up a new avatar - with my new doo!
My avatart doesn't look clear ...i'm working on fixing that!
so ...that's how you get to have the whole plany nursery .... to yuour self .... BRAVE the tropical storms .... you guys are tooo funn

Britt, you are so BEAUTIFUL! My goodness. Wow.
Randy and I have spent several weekends working like day laborers but the yard is finally looking really beautiful. We are never done though...what one doesn't think of the other does. We're going to work ourselves into a well earned medical leave.
