Hi Valorie,
I am from the December board but I visit here occasionally to since I had surgery in the early part of December. Anyway I might have a simple solution for you that works for me. I do get in some veggies with my meats but fruits, I just don't get a lot in. I drink Diet V8 splash - tropical blend. It has 10 cals and I think 2 carbs. It is terrific actually, no after taste, very refreshing in the summer! Just thought I would pass it along.
Hope this helps!
Thanks everyone for the input. Linda, have you found the Stacker Protein Water? If not my recommendation is not to waste the money. I tried it very early after surgery and it tastes NASTY! I know we are all different but I can not see anyone finding this stuff tasty. It tastes like pure chemicals with a bitter, bitter aftertaste. Hope I didn't get to you too late. I spent clse to $4 per bottle and threw every one of them away.
My NUT also recommended the diet V8 splash. I was drinking it in the beginning but haven't in quite some time. I will have to get a bottle. I think I will make a conscious effort to eat more fruits and veggies. They can't be bad and the bennefits may boost my weight loss.
Thanks again for the info everyone.
