Did you ever notice how our old hair styles don't fit us any more after we lose weight? Isn't it funny to look at people's before and after pictures? Almost always we change our hair! People at work have been after me to do something different with my hair that better matches my new weight and new wardrobe. I'm not at goal yet but I had my hair cut and had carmel highlights put in. It's not a drastic change but it definetly is a change. How about you guys? Have you changed your hairstyle yet?

I had my hair changed two months after surgery. Since then my hair has thinned massively, and I am thinking on having it changed again. Since the warmer weather, I have been pulling my hair back into a ponytail or a bun, not enough hair for a bun, but I try and clip it up like one anyway. I thought of posting a general post on thin hair hairstyles, and see if I get any responses. I have colored my hair for the first time since surgery and I went darker, I was told that makes your hair look fuller. Congrats on the new hair doo!! I bet you just look stunning!! Keep up the good work on reaching goal. Take care, Sheryl OPen RNY 11/20/06 344/250/150

Did the darker color make your hair look fuller? It seems like highlighted hair may be better for that because when my hair is dark I feel like I can see my scalp easier where the hair is thinner. Hmmm. Now my curiosity is peaked.

I havent changed my hair but need to desperately. I have been trying to find something I want to do that is more stylish and I also want gold/blonde highlights. Anyways, congrats on your new hairdo, you are such a trend setter on this board. Upload some pics of your new hair, I would love to see it. HUGS Christy

Thanks, I will try to get a picture of the new haircut at our company picnic tomorrow. It's not a big change--just three inches taken off and an overall lighter appearance because of the highlights. I've always had very dark hair so I probably notice it more than other people will. I was up for a change because my ends had gotten so dry and scraggly. I think the tanning bed has affected my hair. I shudder to think what it's doing to my skin! Oh, the price of beauty...

Well, I won't answer since no one has ever responded to me here except Dancing Judge who invited me here long ago. Guess I am in the wrong place, kindly do not respond to this either.
