I haven't tracked my nutrition for the past few weeks. Today I decided to keep track. I was shocked to see that I had 142 carbs today! Can you believe it? I couldn't have done that even if I wanted to a few weeks ago. The number of calories was OK but oh those evil carbs!! Now I know--I can't stop logging my food.

Wanda, I so agree! When get away from logging - am not as good - then when I regroup and start logging again on www.fitday.com I see my carbs & fat intake creep up! I have to log more often to stay focused! I agree carbs are EVIL hugs, Britt

Oh, I remember that day well...breakfast was oatmeal (I usually have a zero carb protein shake)...lunch was soup (I usually have fish or chicken)...snack soy crisps (I usually have cheese or low carb yogurt)...supper was refried beans (I usually have chicken or fish and 1/2 cup of low carb veggie). It's not hard to see where I got off-track! They were good carbs but just a lot of them.

That is interesting, I have noticed a shake gets me started on the right track. I am not a breakfast person, and my pouch has mostly not tolerated "food first". Now the few times I have NOT started with my shake, it seems to "set me up", for wanting to eat more. I am happy for you that you are back on track.
