Food questions
Okay, So call me crazy, but I don't feel like I am following the "food plan" as well as I should be!! I've been so busy with school and work that I'm not eating properly! here is a day for me the past month!
B - 1/4 cup low sugar cereal and a little bit of skim milk
L - cheese slices
D - cream of brocolli soup or tomato soup (something like that)
for snacks I might have some cheez-its or a yogurt
How does this sound?? am I horrible or what!!! temptation got the best of me and I started drinking pop again!! bad girl...bad girl!! i know i know! So i stopped, and I'm making myself drink strictly water or water with crystal light in it. I excercise at least five days a week two hours a day. But I just feel like I'm not eating properly. I take my vitamins daily, and all of my lab levels have been fine. Any advice? I fluctuate between 190-195, I started at 305. So I am down quite a bit, but I have been stuck at 190-195 for about a month now, and I feel like Im doing something wrong. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! What can I do to make this better???????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
Melanie,
It appears that you are not getting enough calories in especially since you are working out 5 days a week. YOur body maybe in starvation mode. My trainer tells me to eat at least 1000 calories a day since I work out 5 days a week. You also need to change your food. Try something different. What is happening is that your body has gotten use to your daily routine, change it up a bit. Try a little more strength training to get those muscles burning. Good luck, Be Encouraged.

You need to eat, girlfriend. You can't live on that! Your weight loss has been fabulous but now it's time to protect your health! Track your nutrition on Fitday to make sure you are getting in enough protein and calories.
You are right to stop drinking soft drinks. They serve no good purpose and can actually cause you harm.
You've lost a lot of weight in such a short period of time. I wouldn't worry about being stuck for now. You body might just need a little break.
I agree with both Donna and Wanda...you're not eating enough. Especially if you're working out that much!! You didn't mention any protien shakes...are you doing those? From what you wrote that you eat you aren't getting anywhere near enough protien. I bet you'll see loss right away if you up your calories and add more protien. As soon as I added an extra protien shake to my diet I broke through my first plateau.
Good luck to you and great work so far!!!
