Planning Another Adventure

My son is going into boot camp next week. I gave him options of things to do this weekend. He chose staying at Daytona Beach so we could ride Sea-Doos. I've never rode on a Sea-Doo before but it sounds like a blast! We found a two-bedroom hotel suite and will invite my daughter and her family too so I'll have a great weekend with the grandsons as well. I love being healthy and energetic since wls!

How are you doing with that? I feel like crying when I think of my son going to boot camp. I know it's probably best for him in the long run because he needs to develop a good work ethic and self discipline but I am so worried about him. It's so hard to watch your kids struggle and find their way in the world. It's not like they are going away to college--they will be around people who carry guns!

I hadn't really thought about it too much until I read your post. I just thought that he was going to get training and a career out of it, I had not thought about the guns believe it or not... Now I am a bit more worried than I was before... Thanks... LOL... Shawn M.

Thanks for the sweet sentiments, Sandy. I must be more emotional about it than I thought. You just brought tears to my eyes. I'm sitting here at my desk at work trying not to cry, lol. I am a mess!
