Are you staying hydrated? Be sure to get all of your fluids in. Before surgery I had a problem with vertigo and the doctor told me something I found surprising...he said to do whatever it is to cause yourself to become dizzy. For instance if laying on your left side makes you dizzy you should purposely lay on your left side. It sounded like a weird course of treatment to me but I'm not dizzy anymore so maybe he had something there.

Actually, I have noticed that I tend to get dizzy quite a bit lately, when standing up too quickly, etc.... I wonder if it's something to do with not enough water or something like that... I have to admit I don't get ALL my water in every single day (but close). I plan to ask about it at my 6 month checkup. Has anyone noticed your eyesight feeling like it's getting worse?
I do get dizzy, usually when I stand up too quickly, but usually it's because I haven't had enough liquids (as everyone else said). I also have occasional episodes (since long before surgery) of some kind of benign vertigo (it has a fancy name that I don't remember) and I agree with Wanda (I think it was her) that said if you make yourself get dizzy and stay in that position until it passes it actually helps it go away for good. But what you described doesn't sound like that. For me it was never random it was when ever I tilted my head back too far and it happened everytime I did it...so this sounds more like you might not be getting enough liquids since it sounds fairly random.
Good luck!!
