I saw this on the main board and thought I'd post it here in case you didn't see it. Here is how one person shook things up to get back into a weight loss mode. "My plateau lasted 2 1/2 months. Here are the things I did, if they help: 1) Mix up your caloric intake and food choices. For example, one day eat 800 calories, with lots of good whole wheat carbs, the next day, eat mostly protein at 1200 calories. 2) Mix up your exercise - one day walk, the next day lift weights 3) Stay away from sugar and white flour (this was a snacking problem I had). Switch to protein snacks or high-fiber carbs 4) Get in as much water as you can - try for 64 oz a day. 5) Get in an extra hour of sleep each night 6) Take your vitamins All of these things "confuse" the body, and kick it back into gear. You don't want your body to know what it's doing, because then it 'readjusts' to your new habits. I know there are probably other people who will give you different advice, but these tips are what worked for me. "

Thanks Kim! I think that is great info. I really got out of my routine this week--in a bad way. I did lots of walking in Vegas, but did not have access to food that was good for me. They provided breakfast and lunch but there wasn't anything I could ea****er was very expensive so I'm sure I didn't get enough in. Since I got home yesterday I've been craving protein drinks. Isn't it funny how our bodies seem to know best!
