Does anyone else feel BLAH after vitamins??
I just really HATE taking my vitamins latley.
It just seems like such a long process & I feel so crappy & sick to my stomach afterwards.
I'm trying to take them at night now right before bed & hopefully this will help, just wondering if it really matters if we taken them right before bed or is it better in the morning?
I can't imagine it matters when you take them. The only thing I was told was to make sure I don't take calcium and Iron together because then neither of them will absorb. Other than that I think my B vitamins say to take with food so if you are taking a b50 or B12 you might try eating a little something when you take them. I find if I take the B vitamins first thing in the morning it really upsets my stomach so I always take them right before bed which is probably an empty stomach thing. Just make sure you keep taking them no matter how much of a pain in the butt it is. We definitely need them with our new digestive route. So keep up the good work and try taking them with a little food, see if that helps.
Oh another thing...I can only take one kind of iron supplement otherwise they REALLY upset my stomach. I take a brand called Vitron-C and it doesn't bother my stomach at all. Iron supplements are notorious for causing upset stomach though.
Hope that helps a little!

I do not feel "Blah" now aways -
In the begining I had a hard time getting all my vitamins in ..and they made me feel yucky.
Thankfully these days - I have no problem getting everything in.
I do not think taking them in the day or night makes a difference.
I take some in the am and some in the pm

I use to have a hard time getting in my vitamins and yes, they made me feel bad too. Recently I found a liquid vitamin called Glacial Milk complete that I take 1 tbs morning and night. I warn you it does NOT taste good! But you get use to it and it is high in easily absorbable vitamins in an aloe base. It has huge amounts of B vitamins that help with energy and so many good things. Now I take this morning and night, calcium (tums) a couple times through the day and my iron at bedtime. A do-able routine for me and I don't feel bad anymore. My only problem is...I bought the product at Sam's Club when it was on a demo. Now they don't have it in stock and don't know where I can find it. I am sure I can find it online but would love to find it stocked somewhere locally. It is always something.
