Have any had a hernia

I am 5 months postop I lost 96 lbs. I just found out that I have a ventral hernia, I will have it repair on thursday.

sorry you are not feeling well. How in the world did you get that and what are they going to do?

I'm nearly 6 mo out - surgery 31 Oct 06. My DS was done lap and I just found out that I have an incisional hernia about 3 x 5". It's big enough to have a name - Fred - but not big enough to have its own zip code. I'm hoping to wait to have it repaired until I've lost more weight. I've lost 105 from my pre-surg high. How did your repair go?
